Skincode Strengthens Portuguese Presence with New Pop-Up Store in Vila Nova de Gaia

Zurich-based Skincode AG, a brand renowned for its commitment to medical skincare products that are 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free, has officially launched its first pop-up store in Vila Nova de Gaia, marking a significant step in strengthening its physical presence in Portugal. The opening ceremony took place on Wednesday, December 17, inside Farmácia Gaia Jardim, located within the Gaia Jardim Shopping Centre at 399 Avenida dos Escultores.

According to a statement from AICEP, the creation of the pop-up was entrusted entirely to the Portuguese company Decorpublic. Based in Famões, Odivelas, Decorpublic specializes in point-of-sale (POS) marketing and advertising decor solutions, handling the design, production, and installation of the unit. The design reflects Skincode's Swiss tradition by combining precision and purity with scientific excellence. Decorpublic achieved this aesthetic by utilizing high-gloss lacquer finishes, crisp white surfaces, integrated lighting, and backlit displays, successfully capturing the clinically tested approach characteristic of Skincode's dermocosmetics.

Prinz Niclas Massalsky, CEO and founder of Skincode, expressed his gratitude for the new venture in a statement, saying, "A big thank you to Farmácia Gaia Jardim for the honour of a fantastic collaboration, and to Decorpublic for producing and installing this impressive display/retail unit." While the new pop-up represents a expansion of its physical retail strategy, the Swiss dermocosmetics brand, headquartered in Zurich, already maintains a strong presence in Portugal through pharmaceutical distribution channels. Its products can be found at strategic physical points of sale, including pharmacies and parapharmacies such as Farmácia Triunfo, and through distribution networks like Pharmashop. Online, Skincode’s Essentials (sensitive skin) and Exclusive (cellular anti-ageing) ranges are available through e-commerce platforms like Care to Beauty, Makeupstore.pt, and BeautyTheShop.
