US footwear label Sorel has announced a dynamic new partnership with Aries, the London-based luxury streetwear brand. This collaboration brings forth a limited edition capsule collection, masterfully fusing Sorel’s renowned rugged, performance-driven design with Aries’ distinct bold and counter-culture aesthetic.
The centerpiece of this exclusive collection is the Sorel x Aries ‘Callsign Horizon’ boot. This silhouette draws inspiration from Sorel's iconic Caribou boot and marks a significant milestone as Aries becomes the very first brand to collaborate on this particular design. The 'Callsign Horizon' seamlessly merges utilitarian craftsmanship with a statement-making style, featuring a unique removable zip-off micro shroud with bungee cord closure, a waterproof Gore-Tex upper for ultimate protection, and a Vibram molded outsole engineered for superior traction and durability.
Beyond the hero footwear, the partnership also extends to a limited-run of apparel and accessories. This includes the Premium Aged Zip-Through Hoodie, crafted from premium heavy 480gsm brushed-back cotton jersey fleece. The hoodie boasts a two-way zip, a distinctive 'Sorel Bear' graphic screen-printed on the hood, and an 'Aries Temple' logo subtly placed on the back zip pocket. Complementing the hoodie is a matching knitted Beanie, which features a co-branded silicone temple patch, further solidifying the brands' joint identity.
