The global communications collective, The Independents, has announced The Outsiders Perspective as the second participant in its L’Incubateur initiative. This programme is designed to identify, support, and accelerate the next wave of talent, entrepreneurs, and creative agencies on a global scale, aiming to catalyse innovation by connecting next-generation founders with essential resources and networks for growth. It also allows The Independents’ diverse clientele, from individuals to global luxury brands, to benefit from cutting-edge thinking.

Founded in 2022 by British-Indian fashion executive Jamie Gill, The Outsiders Perspective is actively transforming the global luxury and lifestyle industries. Its core mission involves curating a top-tier talent pool of diverse professionals from high-performing industries and strategically placing them into pivotal roles within leading brands. This approach stems from the fundamental belief that the individuals shaping global brands should accurately reflect the diverse customer base they serve.

Despite current trends that see some businesses pulling back from diversity initiatives, The Outsiders Perspective is doubling down on its commitment, steadfastly proving that inclusive hiring is a commercial imperative for success. The organisation currently supports over 200 professionals through its Accelerator Programme and boasts a growing portfolio of more than 25 prestigious brand partners, including industry giants such as Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Lululemon, and Tiffany & Co.

The Outsiders Perspective joins L’Incubateur at a significant moment as it concurrently launches its Executive Search division. This new arm is dedicated to tackling the global fashion industry’s talent crisis head-on by placing diverse leaders with sharp strategic acumen into decision-making roles across the luxury and lifestyle sectors. Already actively hiring for positions in key fashion capitals like Barcelona, London, Milan, and New York, this division provides bespoke talent acquisition solutions, from senior management to C-suite, effectively future-proofing leadership teams with exceptional talent.

The first participant in the programme, announced in March, was Paris-based spatial design studio Matière Noire.
