Vessi Brings Waterproof Innovation to Bellevue with First U.S. Store
Vancouver-based waterproof footwear brand, Vessi, has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its first U.S. store at Bellevue Square in Washington on Wednesday. This marks a significant milestone for the company, bringing its innovative technology and products directly to American consumers.
The new retail location is strategically designed to provide customers with a tactile experience of Vessi’s unique offerings. Shoppers can now interact with the brand’s waterproof technology firsthand and ensure a proper fit, experiencing the comfort and performance of Vessi footwear in person – a first for the U.S. market. The store will carry Vessi’s complete footwear collection, as well as a curated selection of outerwear.
“Opening our first U.S. store is an important step for the brand,” stated Andy Wang, co-founder and CEO of Vessi. He further emphasized the importance of the Pacific Northwest region to Vessi’s success, highlighting Bellevue as a logical choice for establishing a physical retail presence and delivering the full “Vessi experience.”
Founded in 2018, Vessi has rapidly gained popularity for its lightweight, everyday footwear. The brand’s success is rooted in its proprietary Dyma-tex waterproof knit technology, which sets its products apart. To date, Vessi has sold over two million pairs of shoes globally, demonstrating strong consumer demand.
Demonstrating a commitment to social responsibility, Vessi announced that all profits generated during the store’s opening period, spanning its first weekend of operations, will be donated to support local flood relief and recovery initiatives. Additionally, the company will be making a separate donation to aid communities impacted by flooding in Abbotsford and the Lower Mainland region of British Columbia.
