White Milano Partners with Saudi Fashion Commission to Elevate Local Talent

Fresh off its successful debut of the first Designer Wholesale Showroom at Riyadh Fashion Week—an event that brought together approximately 50 Saudi and international designers—Milan-based trade show White has announced a significant collaboration. White has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Fashion Commission, an entity operating under Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Culture. This strategic partnership is poised to play a crucial role in the development of national talent and the robust enrichment of the Kingdom’s burgeoning creative sector.

Brenda Bellei, CEO of M.Seventy and The Circle Platform.sa (a Saudi legal entity)—the two companies responsible for organizing the White Milano and White Riyadh trade shows, respectively—expressed her enthusiasm for the new agreement. Bellei stated, "With our strong international experience in the fashion industry and our well-established network, we have brought our know-how to Saudi Arabia, starting with the organisation of the official showroom during Riyadh Fashion Week, held from October 16 to 21, 2025." She further explained that this initial project was meticulously designed to promote creative talent through a structured strategy focused on global promotion and positioning, setting the stage for deeper collaboration.

The newly forged partnership is structured to provide a wealth of opportunities for Saudi designers. It will grant them invaluable access to White Milano's extensive international platforms, thereby facilitating broader creative and cultural exchange through joint events and collaborative initiatives. Moreover, the collaboration will introduce comprehensive support mechanisms, including mentorship programmes, workshops, and specialized training courses. These educational components are specifically designed to bolster Saudi talent and impart international best practices across critical areas such as innovative design, effective branding strategies, and sustainable fashion principles.

Burak Cakmak, CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, underscored the strategic importance of this collaboration. "This partnership with White Milano reflects our ongoing commitment to building platforms that showcase local talent, broaden international collaborations, and enrich the creative economy," Cakmak commented. He emphasized the Commission's proactive role, stating that by bringing White Milano's first international showroom to Riyadh, it has reaffirmed its position as a vital catalyst for innovation, exchange, and opportunity, ultimately ensuring that Saudi fashion continues to thrive and gain recognition on the global stage.
